Cooking instructions:
Ingredients:
- 1.5kg Tormeys cured ham uncooked
- 2x bay leaf
- 12x cloves
- 75ml honey
Method
- Bring ham to boil in large pot of fresh cold water
- For each 450g simmer for 30 minutes
- After 2 hours of cooking time add and bay leaves
- Remove ham whilst still hot and place fat side up on a roasting tray
- Brush with honey and stud with cloves
- Place in a preheated oven 215° c for 20 minutes
- Remove from oven and leave to cool
This is a great centre piece to any Christmas dinner
